This page contains information for official contributors to TopFive.com's Movies "Little Fiver", both new (welcome!) and tenured (try some Ginko Biloba).

If you aren't a Top5 Movies contrib, you are welcome to look around, but you aren't allowed to submit... yet.

Current contributors will know virtually all of this, but I'll include my personal take on moderating the list and its style of comedy, so you may learn a little something about placing high on the lists.

Timeline

I usually send out topics on Thursday, plus or minus a day.

Submissions (to Top5Movies@topfive.com or kris@13idol.com) are due Tuesday by 9 pm Pacific.

I usually edit the list on Wednesday night. As long as your submissions get to me before I actually start, you're in.

The list is published Friday.


How to submit
  • Enter SUBMIT [TOPIC NAME] in the email Subject. Hyphen, no hyphen, any combination of the words is fine.

  • Preface each submission with your "contribu-code": First 2 letters of your last name, first 2 of your first name, and a greater-than symbol. Mine is:

          idkr> Carrot Top, Pauly Shore and Tom Cruise!

  • Up to FOUR submissions per topic; all in one email is best, but not mandatory.
