Steve is a deeply troubled man.

Six months after the end of the love of his life, he just can't stop thinking about her.

But his best friend has invited him up to the lake to help him snap out of it, and Steve's on his way, flying through the night in his old beater...

He really should have gotten gas.

Miles and miles into nowhere, Steve's little car gasps and chokes... and dies.

"Not now...  not here."

Yes, here.

Because this dark, deserted road -- or more accurately, the forest next to it -- is where Steve will learn something critical about himself, his past, and his ultimate future.

What will you remember in the shadow of your death?
